3 Your Rights

You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

3.1 General Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.

3.2 Rights regarding data processing based on legitimate interests

Pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (e) GDPR (processing in the public interest) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (processing for the purposes of legitimate interests). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority regarding our processing of your personal data.

4 Collection of personal data when visiting our website

When you use our website for informational purposes only, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR:

IP address, date and time of the request, time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), content of the request (specific page), access status/HTTP status code, amount of data transferred in each case, website from which the request originates, browser, operating system and its interface, language and version of the browser software.

5 Contact via email or contact form

When you contact us by email or via a contact form, the data you provide (your email address and, where applicable, your name and telephone number) will be stored by us in order to respond to your inquiries. Where we request information via our contact form that is not required to contact us, we have always marked it as optional. This information helps us to clarify your request and to process your inquiry more efficiently. Providing this information is expressly voluntary and based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. If the information provided relates to communication channels (for example, email address or telephone number), you also consent to us contacting you via this communication channel if necessary in order to respond to your request. You may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.

The data collected in this context will be deleted once storage is no longer necessary, or the processing will be restricted if statutory retention obligations apply.

6 Use of Cookies

When you use our website, cookies are stored on your device. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and associated with the browser you use, allowing certain information to be transmitted to the entity that sets the cookie. Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the website more user-friendly and effective overall. We also use cookies to recognize you on subsequent visits if you have an account with us. Otherwise, you would have to log in again for each visit.

6.1 Transient Cookies

These cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These include, in particular, session cookies. They store a so-called session ID, which allows various requests from your browser to be assigned to the same session. This enables your device to be recognized when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.

6.2 Persistent Cookies

These cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period of time, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.

6.3 Flash Cookies

The Flash cookies used are not captured by your browser but by your Flash plug-in. We also use HTML5 storage objects, which are stored on your device. These objects store the required data independently of the browser you use and do not have an automatic expiration date. If you do not wish Flash cookies to be processed, you must install a corresponding add-on, e.g. "Better Privacy" for Mozilla Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/betterprivacy/) or the Adobe Flash Killer Cookie for Google Chrome. You can prevent the use of HTML5 storage objects by using your browser's private mode. We also recommend regularly deleting your cookies and browser history manually.

6.4 Blocking Cookies

You can configure your browser settings according to your preferences and, for example, refuse the acceptance of third-party cookies or all cookies. Please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website.

6.5 Legal basis and retention period

The legal basis for the possible processing of personal data and the corresponding storage periods may vary and are described in the following sections.

7 Website Analytics

For the purposes of analyzing and optimizing our website, we use various services, which are described below. This allows us, for example, to analyze how many users visit our website, which information is most frequently requested, or how users find our offerings. We collect, among other things, data about the website from which a user has arrived (so-called referrer), which subpages of the website are accessed, and how often and for how long a subpage is viewed. This helps us to design and improve our offerings in a user-friendly manner. The data collected in this context is not used to personally identify individual users. Only anonymous or, at most, pseudonymous data is collected. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

7.1 Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The service is used in Universal Analytics mode, which allows data, sessions, and interactions to be assigned to a pseudonymous user ID across multiple devices, enabling cross-device analysis of user activities.

Google Analytics uses cookies, which allow the analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If IP anonymization is enabled on this website, however, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. This also constitutes our legitimate interest in data processing. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is § 15 (3) TMG and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Data sent by us and linked with cookies, user IDs (e.g., User-ID), or advertising IDs is automatically deleted after a maximum of 24 months. Data whose storage period has expired is automatically deleted once a month. For more information on terms of use and privacy, please visit https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website fully. In addition, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser add-on for deactivation. Opt-out cookies prevent future data collection when visiting this website. To prevent cross-device tracking via Universal Analytics, the opt-out must be applied on all devices you use.

8 Data transfer

Your data is generally not transferred to third parties, unless we are legally obliged to do so, the data transfer is necessary for the execution of the contractual relationship, or you have explicitly consented to the transfer of your data in advance.

External service providers and partner companies receive your data only to the extent necessary to process your request. In these cases, the scope of the transmitted data is limited to the minimum necessary. Where our service providers come into contact with your personal data, we ensure, within the framework of order processing pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, that they comply with data protection regulations in the same manner. Please also note the respective privacy policies of these providers. The respective service provider is responsible for the content of third-party services, although we review these services to the extent reasonable to ensure legal compliance.

We strive to process your data within the EU/EEA. However, it may occur that we use service providers that process data outside the EU/EEA. In such cases, we ensure that an appropriate level of data protection is established with the recipient before your personal data is transferred. This means that either EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision ensures a level of protection comparable to the standards within the EU.

9 Data Security

We have implemented extensive technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons. Our security procedures are regularly reviewed and adapted to technological developments.
