Timberland
The outdoor lifestyle brand Timberland® can look back on a history that began in 1952. It was primarily the injection molding process and thus the birth of the first waterproof boat – the Original Yellow Boot – that gave the brand, which has been producing under its current name since 1973, its breakthrough. Later, the well-known Classic boat shoe and the handsewn moccasin followed.
Timberland® not only stands for premium quality, craftsmanship, and innovation, but has long been committed to reducing its ecological footprint on earth. All over the world, the consumption of plastic water bottles is increasing. Billions of them are collected from landfills, recycled, and transformed into durable ReBOTL ™ material that we use in our products. We also take rubber scraps left over from production and turn them into recycled rubber soles that provide grip and durability, while being environmentally conscious. Our clothing collections increasingly use certified organic cotton or recycled nylon.
